Murray grey steer raises $13,500 for charity
20112011 has seen the auction of the 4th Wagga RSL Club Willians Hill School Charity Steer, donated by the Wagga RSL Club make a whopping $13,500.
This Murray Grey steer was the Reserve Champion heavy weight steer at the Wagga Wagga Show, weighing in at 495Kg. The steer then went up for auction at the Wagga Saleyards.
The 12 Month old murray Grey Steer was auctioned for a hefty $13,500 on the 21/11/11, purchased by IGA Sydney. All proceeds go to Willians Hill School, Children with disabilities.
The steer was prepared for show and sale by the Rodd family, John, Nicole and Kimberley Rodd a team that are becoming very well known for their hard work in preparing charity steers.
The Rodd’s are proud to announce that this is the highest price they have received for a charity steer since they became involved.
