Personnel changes for MGBCS
2012Following the recent resignation of Georgie Kedzlie as the Executive Officer of the Murray Grey Beef Cattle Society, the Board is pleased to announce that Adele Potgieter has been promoted to the role of Executive Officer.
Due to home commitments and the demands of working as the Executive Officer of the Murray Grey Beef Cattle Society Georgie made the decision to resign. Georgie will remain working at ABRI on other duties.
Georgie really enjoyed working with the Board and Members of the MGBCS and would like to wish members all the best for the future.
Diana Wood will be going on maternity leave from the 10th of July and after 5 years of service to the MGBCS, will be returning to ABRI towards the end of the year in another capacity. We wish her well.
Diana would like to thank everyone involved with the MGBCS for the invaluable experiences she has had over the past 5 years and for the enjoyment she has had from administering the breed. Diana would like to especially thank the Board members she has worked with in her time for the supporting role they have played.
The role of registrar and member services officer has been appointed to Aimee Klabe.
Aimee grew up on a farm north of Armidale, Aimee is currently studying a Bachelor of Agribusiness at the University of New England. At the same time Aimee has been working full time at ABRI for 16 months and has been responsible for the processing of Red Angus, Red Poll, South Devon, Texas Longhorn, Lowline and is the Executive Officer and registrar for the Belted Galloway Association.
During her time at ABRI Aimee has been using the ILR2 database on a regular basis and will bring a wealth of experience to the day to day processing.
Aimee is looking forward to working with the members and board of the MGBCS.
Both Adele and Aimee will be working under full time conditions and will be available during working hours Monday to Friday.
