LOCAL murray grey stud owners Rod and Ruth Gregurke have come away from this year’s Royal Adelaide Show winners after their murray grey stud won in two categories.
Tarlina Hamburg H35 won from a field of 36 entrants in the junior grand category and also took out the supreme murray grey exhibit from seven other exhibitors.
The young bull, which was lead by Julie Lawrie, was 16.5 months old, weighed 680 kilograms, was 10/10 for fat and had an eye muscle area of 124sq/cm.
Owner Rod Gregurke said the judge Hayon Green repeatedly commented on the bull’s soft and smooth coat, ideal fat cover, sound structure, very good feet and exceptional muscle for a young bull.
