Crystal Bell at Mount Linton NZ
December 9, 2014Young Gun breeder, Crystal Bell, Prairie Falls which is based in Flinders, Victoria, was lucky enough to win a two week trip to the Mount Linton Station in the South Island of New Zealand after attending the Stud Beef Handlers Camp back in July this year. The award was proudly sponsored by Mount Linton and has seen three Murray Grey Members in the last eight years. Crystal has been at the station just over a week now, the station is 33 thousand acres, has almost 100 thousand stock units consisting of Angus cattle and Sheep, 120 working and hunting dogs and about 30 employed staff. Crystal has been assisting with the annual fixed time AI program, DNA profiling all stud calves, mustering cattle and sheep in the blue mountains, pig hunting before work, weighing 12 month old steers and so much more, She would like to thank the Stud Beef Handlers Camp for allowing her to travel overseas and work on a large scale station! Also to everyone at Mount Linton for making this fabulous experience available!
