ARKI & Errowanbang Murray Grey National Junior Stock Show

To continue the success of the past youth shows, the Clipex 52^nd Murray Grey National Show and Sale will again be held in conjunction with the Arki & Errowanbang Murray Grey National Junior Stock Show in 2018. The event will be held from Friday 20^th until midday 22^nd April, followed by National Show & Sale on the 23^rd.

In the past 2 years we’ve seen between 50-70 competitors aged between 5 and under 25yrs compete and enjoy themselves over the 3 day event. We saw the next generation in full swing, and with your support have now seen them use their scholarships to visit the USA, New Zealand, Tocal Judging school and compete at the SA Junior Heifer Expo and represent the Murray Grey Youth. These competitors have done the breed proud! We also felt this event created greater interest in the breed by the next generation and helped the sale.

 To once again make this event possible we need your continued support in numerous ways.

 1. We need the use of cattle for the Youth of the industry to parade and compete with. As the Show & Sale is the following day this will also allow breeders to sell their animals at Auction, but this is not a requirement allowing you to take them back home.

 2. We require as many breeders as possible to attend the whole event and make it special for the Youth and relaunch our breed into the future.

 3. For this event we need sponsors. The committee is already working towards corporate sponsors, but we also NEED YOUR SUPPORT to make this happen. Attached is a Sponsorship package for members, so we encourage you to take the time and read through this and think about the opportunity to market your Stud and be involved in what we hope will be an exciting few days in April.
