Information: Welcome to Lindsay Murray Greys where we aim to provide Beef Week visitors an opportunity to inspect a balanced herd of high quality Murray Greys, an all-purpose sustainable breed with outstanding carcase traits and superior temperament, maternal characteristics and calving ease. On display 35 autumn and spring drop bulls, 10 stud heifers and 25 PTIC commercial heifers reserved for our annual sale on February 28 on farm at Pigeon Ponds. All bulls and stud heifers have full Breedplan growth, fertility and carcase data. The sale bulls will also be structurally assessed, vet checked, semen tested, guaranteed and delivered. MN3 accredited. A cross section of the herd including females and sires also penned for viewing. Information: Dajory is proud to be back in Beef Week after a year away, at our new location ‘Concorde Park’ Congupna, with a good representation of quality Murray Greys on display. Breedplan member with EBVs available, animals are structurally assessed and scanned to maintain a sustainable herd with quality carcass attributes, maternal characteristic and temperament. We will be offering stud and commercial females both joined and unjoined for sale at Beef Week on a first in first served basis along with a smaller selection of 12 -18 mths sale bulls. Information: Murray Greys are known as the carcase breed. In addition they are easy calving, excellent mothers, heat tolerant, naturally polled and calm to handle. Through the use of elite genetics we aim to provide high performance animals with low birth weights. We want to provide quiet, well-handled bulls that will provide our clients with soft, well muscled, thick meaty calves. It is worth a day trip to the picturesque Dookie hills to see our bulls for sale, upcoming young sires and our magnificent matrons. So come along, we’d love to see you and our cows love a pat.
