Cadfor information day coming

After the good response last year to the discussions on ‘bull selection’ at the Cadfor information day, the owners Rod and Helena have invited Brian Cumming back again to discuss “creating a herd of highly productive beef females”.

Topics discussed will also cover assessing what females you have on hand, your calving history, fertility and weaner production. Also tips for the physical assessment of cows – feet, legs, udder, frame and carcase will be covered.  Herd targets, calving time, length of joining period and pregnancy testing options will also be covered.

The invitation to the Cattle Information Day is extended to all cattle producers, not just Murray Grey breeders and their clients.  If you have friends or neighbours that would like to be involved please invite them along.
