Royal Adelaide Show Results 2023

An amazing line up of animals filled the stalls at the Royal Adelaide Show from the 2nd to the 10th of September!

Not only did Murray Greys shine throughout the led steer competition but also in the interbreed.

A note from Ballyvaughan Stud Principle – Katrina Sanders:

“There was a great line up of Murray Grey cattle at the Adelaide Show and very good competition which is really good for the breed.

To make it even better as we were very successful in the Interbreed the next day, coming Reserve in all 3 sections.

Our cow Ballyvaughan Faith P11 was fortunate enough to come Supreme MG exhibit and then was part of the Reserve Interbreed pair with Bottlesford Triumph.

On a note the Reserve Champion Murray Grey Female was Ballyvaughan Faith Q11 exhibited by Sunshine Murray Greys.

Both cows are from the same Maternal Faith line that hails back to a cow we bought at an Oakley Murray Grey sale (Glen and Lyn Hammat) 23 years ago and was one of the foundation cows of our herd.”
