Banksia Ridge Harry is a moderately framed sire with super carcase figures. It is difficult to breed or find an animal with such superior eye muscle together with excellent fat cover. Harry has one of the highest Breedplan figures for eye muscle in the breed coupled with rib and rump fat EBVs in the top 5% of the breed. His calves have averaged 38kg and none were assisted. His daughters are producing well. Tested free of the Myostatin variant NT821.

CADFOR FALCON N2 – HR1 N2

Cadfor Falcon N2 was the pick of the ET batch by leading sire Eylwarra Sands Falcon out of our top cow Cadfor Beroleanne D138. In our opinion Falcon N2 was the best bull we have used or bred. He matured into an outstanding example of the breed and is leaving quality offspring. He had great temperament and sound structure. His Breedplan data for all traits are all positive (better than breed average) and few bulls can boast this. His $indices, growth, carcase weight, eye muscle and scrotal are top 1% of the breed. Falcon is a curve bender with a BW EBV below breed average. His calves have averaged 38kg. Sire of the Supreme Champion Carcase at 2020 Schools Steer Spectacular with Gold Medal and 99% which was described as the “near perfect steer”. Tested free of the Myostatin variant NT821. CADFOR JUSTICE J181 – HR1 J181

Cadfor Justice is a nice soft bull but showing excellent muscularity. He has EMA figures in the top 5% of the breed coupled with positive fats. Another product of our highly successful Willalooka Arthur x Lindsay Starbright crossing strategy. He offers superior calving ease, average growth and excellent carcase. Easy doing and quiet to handle, he was used in the Cadfor herd for heifer joining – calves averaged 34 kg.

Cadfor Mr Kool K200 was the first calf out of Dajory Eve G125; he was a standout from birth and was the pick of his drop. His carcase data is outstanding with his EMA and carcase yield in the top 5%. Sire of the Supreme Champion Carcase at 2019 Schools Steer Spectacular with Gold Medal and 92%. He has sired 23 calves at Cadfor and they averaged 38kg. Top 10% for birth weight and calving ease. He had an unflappable temperament. Has one copy of the Myostatin variant NT821.

CADFOR REGAL R101 – HR1 R101

Cadfor Regal R101 was ideally suited to put over our heifers with his birthweight and calving ease being in the top 1% of the breed. However, he is more than just a heifer bull as he offers a very superior carcase with eye muscle and fats in the top 1% of the breed and marbling in the top 20%. He was the quietest bull in his group and is very easy to handle. Has one copy of the Myostatin variant NT821.

Xman L16 is an attractive, structurally correct bull that was the $15,000 top priced bull at the 2016 Cam Grove sale. Xman L16 has excellent Breedplan figures in most traits. Breed trait leader for scrotal, birth weight, 400 and 600 day growth plus calving ease in top 10%. His calves actual birth weights average 38kg. He offers superior growth figures, mature cow weight and milk. In top 10% of the breed for scrotal, carcase weight, eye muscle, top 20% for rib and rump fat with top 5% for marbling. Wallawong Sheffield was a breed trait leader for growth and carcase weight. Excellent marbling. Smooth shoulders and small head – his calves were born easily. Used extensively over heifers with calves averaging birth weight of 38kg and none assisted. His calving record in the Cadfor herd does not correlate with his poor calving ease EBV. Has left us some very good matrons. Very good temperament. Tested free of the Myostatin variant NT821.
