Willawa Murray Grey Stud owned and managed by Mrs.Viv Giles of Newdegate successfully kicked off the Western Australian Murray Grey Bull selling season on the 20th January 2015.
Six Willawa bulls catalogued in the Great Southern Blue Ribbon Bull Sale held at the Mount Barker regional cattle saleyards attracted buyer interest from almost 500kms away at Gingin when Maxine Greville of Gingin Pastoral Company purchased the 22 months of age Willawa Jackson GGO J4 for a very respectable $5,750.
All up a 100% clearance resulted in a $3,950 average for the Willawa team which is an excellent start to the selling season.
